Outsourced reception case study

Circumstance:

Whilst this is perhaps a typical or more common situation, one of our Clients is a large manufacturing company and came to us when one of their full time receptionist had decided to leave and our Client didn’t want to replace them, deciding instead to test the effectiveness of outsourcing to Verbatim.

Assignment:

During discussions with Verbatim, we were asked to provide a full time virtual reception service and answer all incoming phone calls to the company.

Action:

Verbatim included the Client in our processes and each member of the Clients staff was asked how they liked their calls handled.

Conclusion:

Delighted with the results, the Client didn’t replace the receptionist and we continue to handle the Clients calls. The remaining receptionist was employed in another department and the Client saves in excess of £24,000 per annum.
